Body and identity, the sensory and the sensual, the commodification of the erotic and the exotic: these are often recurring themes in Hadassah Emmerich’s work. I filmed Hadassah in her studio in the former ice cellars of Saint-Gilles, and during the construction of a large mural in Centrale for contemporary art. Whitehouse Gallery in Lovenjoel asked me to portray some artists and their studios. This is the last video in a series of four.
